Brackett Properties LLC. is an owner-operated, sole proprietorship based in the heart of the Des Moines metro. Owned by Parke Brackett, Brackett Properties LLC. offers property management services as well as custom bench building and wood working. ​​
Parke’s business originally focused on property management and maintenance of residential and commercial properties. With 10+ years of experience, Parke has managed properties around the metro, from a large horse farm to his own multi-unit rental property.  Brackett Properties LLC was established in 2018 after an initial rental inspection of Parke’s property revealed a need for quality property management. While working as a property manager Parke started creating custom wood works, including boxes and small benches. In 2017, Parke had the opportunity to work as an apprentice craftsman at Wood Works based in Pipe Creek, Texas, focusing on home remodeling and renovations with specialization in custom cabinetry and fine woodworking.  After moving back to Des Moines in 2018, Parke continued to practice woodworking and Des Moines Bench Builder and Custom Woodworking was started in 2020.
